Oral History Project

In Production

St. Pol de Leon Oral History was a 10-month community oral history training project to develop skills within the Paul parish and initiate a Paul parish archive to include oral histories and archive photos. Bi-monthly sessions with a group of local volunteers were run to train in good practice, collect and interpret oral histories culminating in a sharing event during Paul Feast. The project also connected with Mousehole School. The project worked with writer Pauline Sheppard, historian/artist Mel Mitchell and musician Katie Kirk. The project ran from January - October 2018.

In 2019 further funding was successful to run a further year long oral history project www.paulvoices.org.

To be completed by end 2020.
